2023/2024 Winter JOs Season Fundraisers

NVC families,

There are 2 opportunities to raise money for your player this season. Both are encouraged but are completely optional. Note that the club keeps a small portion of the profits, this does not affect what you are receiving back in the form of a check. The funds that go to the club are used to help fund scholarships through the NCAC and cover other administrative fees.

1. Butterbraid sales start TODAY. Here is the link to register your player and set up your online store:

Seller Registration | My Fundraising Place

The selling price of a butterbraid is $15 each.

You will make $5 per braid and this will come back as a check written out to you.

The last day to enter orders is Dec. 4 with delivery on Dec. 19. Just in time for Christmas morning!  Note that you MUST pick up on December 19. I will not have room to store them. More detailed pickup info will come later.

If you prefer paper order forms, please contact me at french_sara@yahoo.com. Any paper order forms will need to be turned in to me with money by Dec. 4.

2. Kwik trip car wash cards sales also start TODAY. These are 5 count ultimate car wash cards that can be used at any Kwik Trip. The selling price is $36, which is a $4 savings from the price at the store.

You will make $10 per card that will come back to you in the form of a check.

Deadline to turn in your forms and money for these cards is DEC. 8  and they will deliver on Dec. 19 with the butter braids.

These sales are not online. The Kwik Trip Carwash order form is below.  Please print and use to collect orders and money.

I will give you instructions on turning in these items at a later date.

If you have any questions, please contact french_sara@yahoo.com

Thank you!

First Day of Practice - what to bring

Players will not be able to participate in a practice until all of the below forms have been turned in. PLEASE NOTE that the program handbook has 4 pages at the end that also need to be printed, signed, and returned.

1. NVC Program Handbook (last 4 pages)

2. NVC Waiver Form (if not turned in at tryouts)

3. Northern Lights Waiver Form

4. Medical Release Form

5. JVA Release of Liability

Additionally, the player must bring a check for the season fee.

The 2023/24 Winter Season Cost is to be determined. (depending on number of players and tournaments selected, the price will range from $500 - $900 per player)

We do pay our coaches for their time, and we try to do so with an eye to the “going rate” for the area to attract and keep quality coaches. Other expenses: insurance for each team, practice facility rental (yes, the school district charges us to use their facilities!), jerseys, equipment purchase/replacement, website maintenance (including Sports Engine), Secretary of State/tax expenses. The Northfield Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization. Please know that we do our best to use the funds wisely!
