ABOUT US
Northfield Volleyball Club is made up of 12U–18U teams, with our teams competing in 8–10 tournaments.
12U-14U: Events are multi-day events with some 1-day tournaments with mostly in the local area (defined as the Cities and Rochester). Our non-local area is 1 or 2 events in either Iowa or Wisconsin
15U-18U: Events are 2–3 days in length and involve travel beyond the local area (defined as the Cities and Rochester). This year, we’re planning to compete in tournaments in Iowa, Waukesha, and Chicago. Additionally, we’ll participate in two USAV Qualifiers, a Regional Qualifier, and a Dig Prep tournament.
OUR MISSION
We aim to develop well-rounded student-athletes prepared for high school competition and to support those who aspire to play at the collegiate level.

Coaching Staff
Our coaches bring a range of experience—from high school coaching and multiple years in travel volleyball, to competing at the collegiate level.
Season Timeline
The season runs from December through the beginning of April, allowing athletes to also participate in school sports with minimal scheduling conflicts.
Costs
Season fees are decided by the board every year, and you can expect an update on the Travel Season page. We are also exploring the possibility of offering a grass or sand season, though those details are still in development.
Tryout Policy
We do not select players based on geography—team placement is determined strictly by tryout performance. Athletes will not be required to commit on the day of tryouts.
Northfield Volleyball Club provides a limited number of scholarships each season. Scholarships cover 50% of the season tuition fees and do not include the athlete’s gear package requirements.
All scholarships require a completed application, volunteer participation, and a commitment from both the athlete and their parent(s).
Please note that the Travel Season and Fall League scholarships have different requirements. Full details and application links can be found on each program’s page on the website.
Northfield Volleyball Club is offering two optional fundraisers to help players offset their winter program fees:
Kwik Trip Car Wash Cards – Earn $10 per card sold
Butter Braids – Earn $5.50 per braid sold, earn $6.50 per braid if total club sales exceed 250
Participation in these fundraisers is completely optional, and players may choose to participate in one or both opportunities.
CLUB DOCUMENTS
In the event that the Northfield Schools must be closed due to inclement weather, all Northfield Volleyball Club practices will be cancelled for that evening.
